Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 15th International Conference on Metal Structures – ICMS2025, under the working title Science for Industry. This cyclic conference, which has been held since 1958, offers not only a wide range of lectures and presentations providing a forum for discussion and exchange of experience on the latest developments in researcha, analysis and design methods, standardisation, fabrication, maintenance and refurbishment of steel, aluminium or composite structures, but also a whole package of supporting events to ensure that the expectations of the widest possible range of participants are met.

For the first time in the history of the event, there will be a special session dedicated to bridge structures. In this session, the organisers intend to present, among other things, the latest developments in the field of composite and hybrid bridges that they have been involved in developing – from the research and theoretical basis of new design concepts to the structures already built that are unique in the world, but also the topic of shear connections based on composite dowels and the new Technical Specification prCEN-TS 1994-1-102 which are currently being prepared.

We invite all parties working on metal structures to actively participate in ICMS2025. During the conference we expect to discuss the following topics:

The organizers of the conference are: Department of Building Structures Faculty of Civil Engineering Wrocław University of Science and Technology and Metal Structures Section Committee of Civil Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences, while patronage of the event was provided by: The Polish Group of the International Association for Bridges and Structural Engineering, The European Convention for Constructional Steelwork and Polish Chamber of Steelwork
